Senior Project Manager/ Consultant at KPMG
2019 - Present

  • Responsible for and in charge of shaping a new capability group within KPMG Audit Technology Practice, establishing the new capability as centre of excellence for Business-led IT leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps and Power BI. My strategic pillars included delivery of use cases, establishing best practice (agile delivery) and governance, change management, recruitment & resourcing, programme finance, comms strategy and continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for the delivery of Microsoft Power Platform and Power Apps initiatives using Agile & DevOps principles for the UK Audit Business. Project Budget >£1.1M involving 2 highly influential stakeholders at Partner level. I delivered technology workstream specifically the Canvas App and associated environment set-up via my delivery team leveraging Agile delivery methodology, Kanban boards and ensuring best practice. Responsible for delivery of all architectural collateral relating to data model, security, identity and access management etc via my Solution Architects for governance gate reviews prior to GO-LIVE. Anticipating potential issues/risk and formulating feasible mitigating outcomes while maintaining effective, honest and open communication with my clients to manage expectations.

  • In response to the impact of Covid-19 coupled with an urgent Client delivery, I was selected based on my unique skillset to lead the delivery of cloud-based solution for the KPMG Business engaged with a defence contractor handling highly confidential and government official data – to ensure business continuity. Key technology components utilised in this delivery: Azure IaaS VMs, Azure Key Vault & Backup Vault, Azure Disk Encryption, TDE for SQL. All data/resources held within UK boarders. Establishing relationships with key stakeholders, prioritising, coordinating and mobilising resources at a fast and dynamic pace in compliance with stringent KPMG and Client security requirements and governance procedures.

  • Other tech projects include leading and delivering intelligent cloud solutions for Client engagements utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 data export via secure connections with their Azure tenant. Audit data and general ledger is extracted from D365 SQL Database, then transformed and analysed via a purpose built ETL server on-premise and finally ingested by internal KPMG systems. Automation was incorporated via SSIS packages. Other technologies incorporated to the Project include cutting edge BYOD (Bring Your Own Database) concept & TLS 1.2 enterprise grade encryption considering the highly sensitive classification of data.

  • Delivered the first implementation of “KPMG Intelligent Platform Automation” a proprietary software package outside of the US and within the UK Member Firm enabling KPMG Audit and Risk Assurance professionals deliver impactful solutions with unprecedented ability responding to Client needs at market speed. My Project introduced service such as F5 load balancer with SSO authentication, encryption at rest and in transit. I led and integrated teams from United States and Indian KPMG Member firms as well as local UK personnel to formulate a streamlined RACI and support model. I also led & managed decommission exercises saving KPMG over £120K per annum in run costs.

2018

  • Responsible for delivery of key IT Change and Transformation Programmes for UCC Coffee across UK and Europe; effectively acting as Programme Manager focusing on delivering multiple concurrent projects. Most notable was delivery of a hybrid cloud platform & fully managed service with clear and effective SLAs into support. Others included Office 365 migrations, business continuity and disaster recovery work.

  • Responsible for planning a company-wide network merge Project between Annodata and Kyocera Corporation as a result of an acquisition by Kyocera Group. Formulating business case for an office building move factoring element from IT and telecoms requirement to space, design and furnishing in collaboration with bespoke interior design specialists.

  • Also responsible for delivering Managed Print Projects requiring a multitude of MFDs within the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework to universities including Cardiff Metropolitan University, the objective being to transform and deliver a fully scoped managed print service and content management services, consolidating and optimising print usage at the university.

  • Responsible for leading and delivering a diverse & multi-disciplined portfolio of projects in collaboration with Boeing Senior Leadership team, UK Ministry of Defence and strategic Suppliers. Formulating bids and proposals right from concept and definition, integrating internal stakeholder & external suppliers and subsequently leading the implementation on contract award.

  • Delivered projects with significant implications to safety, airworthiness and security directly related to the EJ200 engine for the Typhoon military aircraft and migrated safety critical applications onto HMS Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier. I’ve managed and delivered infrastructure projects where the underlying technology platform is transformed to an up-to-date technology stack ensuring vendor support is maintained.

  • Delivered several transformation projects (DevOps), data migration within Boeing data centres and external environments, supporting contract renewals and decommission work as part of the SCIS Programme with UK Ministry of Defence considered as the Senior Customer.

  • Extensive experience working in client facing, customer/supplier environment, formulating SSOWs and managing third party suppliers including IBM Software Group, Rolls Royce and others. Managing budgets via delivery milestone payments.

  • Experienced in risk Management: Meticulously assessing risk appetite of influential stakeholders in my project and taking action to implement the appropriate risk response ensuring the best value is delivered to the client. Highly confident in being the focal point of contact for effective reporting, managing multiple projects in parallel with the ability to effectively plan/ re-plan responding to baseline changes.

  • Strong leadership and highly experienced in managing my team members coupled with excellent interpersonal and numeracy skills. I understand the value added by building strong professional relationships with Clients and Suppliers to ensure exceptional results.

  • Responsible for maintaining and improving the company standard of frozen food products sold in the London region, this included integrating stock delivery schedules and updating inventory levels as well as shop floor maintenance and providing excellent customer service.

  • Leading a small team of sales assistants on shift patterns. Trained and supported new staff members in utilising the inventory system to optimise efficiency in daily tasks, customer service awareness, and general time management.

  • Pitched marketing and advertising ideas at meetings to increase customer awareness of special deals and Bonus Cards schemes, which have been implemented.

  • Achieved 92% score in a mystery shopper activity where interpersonal skills and customer service are covertly tested and participated in a number of fund raising charity events.
